About me

I'm a full stack developer based in Catania, Sicily, working with clients in Italy and abroad. I studied Economics before I studied code, and it still shapes how I work: before writing software I want to understand the problem, the budget and what success looks like for the people who will use it.

I moved into tech in 2019 through the Steve Jobs Academy. Since then I've built high-traffic websites for international sports organisations such as the ICC and Atalanta B.C., B2B dashboards for companies like Telepass and Neos Air, and real-time data services for the sports industry. My core stack is React, Next.js, TypeScript and NestJS, with Python when the job calls for it.

Alongside that I build websites and tools for local businesses, and more and more I work with AI agents: assistants that understand natural language, connect to existing systems through MCP and take repetitive work off people's hands. If you have a project in mind, I'd be glad to hear about it.

    Frontend Developer | Hinto (Client: Neos Air)

    • Currently developing a specialized B2B dashboard for Neos Air to streamline the exchange of flight package contracts between Airline Managers and Tour Operators.

    • Designing and building a modern, accessible user interface using Next.js and Tailwind CSS.

    • Leveraging Shadcn UI to implement a consistent and reusable component library, ensuring rapid development and a polished user experience.

    • Digitizing complex negotiation workflows, allowing for real-time management of flight allocations and agreements.

    • Engineered core B2B solutions for the sports betting industry, delivering real-time odds and fixture data to client bookmakers.

    • Developed comprehensive administrative dashboards from scratch using Angular and NestJS, enabling efficient data management and visualization.

    • Designed and implemented a scalable microservices architecture utilizing RabbitMQ for asynchronous communication and MongoDB for data persistence.

    • Optimized system performance through advanced caching strategies using Redis.

    • Managed secure and automated deployment pipelines (CI/CD) using Docker and Jenkins, integrating Keycloak for authentication and Infisical for robust secret management.

    Frontend Developer | Deltatre

    • Developed and maintained high-traffic, public-facing web platforms for top-tier sports organizations, including the International Cricket Council (ICC), LIV Golf, Atalanta B.C., Al Ahli SFC, and the National Women's Soccer League (NWSL).

    • Built performant and scalable user interfaces using Next.js, TypeScript, and Tailwind CSS, ensuring optimal rendering and responsiveness across devices.

    • Contributed to the architectural evolution and frontend development of a proprietary Headless CMS using React, streamlining content delivery for editorial teams.
